When presented the challenge of laying out an eight page type specimen book in which to display the history and functionality of a font I decided to choose a modern, sans serif, that featured several weights and styles. Neutraface, a font family containing two styles, six weights, bold, italics, small caps, and alternates, inspired me because of the size of its font family. I chose to showcase this element, through the use of a flip-book element that would provide an interactive method for the reader to see just how grand Neutraface is. My efforts to conceptualize and go above and beyond the basics earned the following concise, but very rewarding feedback, “incredible...just incredible.”
