Tasked with creating two poster designs to display the history, type anatomy elements, and alphabet for one classic serif font and one sans-serif font. I took inspiration from the research I conducted about my selected fonts. For Bodoni, I aimed to take a minimalist approach with my colors to match the sleekness of the typeface. I was highly drawn to the fact that Bodoni is well recognized in the fashion industry for its use in the logo for Vogue Magazine. I carefully laid out this poster to represent a high end style. As for Avant Garde, I represented what avant garde art and fashion is itself, which is new and experimental ideas. Through unique color choices that I felt fit the avant garde theme as well as the placement of the letters and body copy.
